Cooperative business models are common in New Zealand's rural sector. Fonterra, Ballance, Ravensdown and Silver Fern Farms are all examples of successful cooperative businesses. They follow strict commercial practices, and ensure that profits are returned directly to their Members, rather than being paid out to institutional or private investors.
Joining the Cooperative
If becoming a Member of the Cooperative interests you, call our General Manager, Craig Howard on +64 21 221 6245 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and he will come out and meet you to discuss the details.
Supply agreement oFFER
MGGC is currently offering three year supply agreements. We are confident that the terms and conditions we offer will make you want to grow for the Cooperative, and not an investor owned company.
No unrealistic yield caps
MGGC Members know that different blocks produce different volumes of grapes. If you are able to ripen fruit that meets our quality profile, we will take your entire crop. However, if the fruit does not meet our profile, it stays on your vines.
