How we work
Our process begins with client meetings to understand what you are seeking for your markets. We focus on major and minor flavour profiles, acidity levels, overall and residual sweetness and textural qualities. Using your brief for flavour profile, we blend the raw ferments into finished wines, bringing life and character to your wine.
We are New Zealand's only winemaking cooperative
We are owned by our Growers, who know that the quality of their work is at the heart of our success.

Our owners live and work here on the land in Marlborough. Their grapes have to meet the cooperative's quality standards before being harvested.
We are a specialist producer of Sauvignon Blanc
We produce a range of wine varietals, especially Sauvignon Blanc.
Marlborough's world-famous Sauvignon Blanc is our specialty, however we are also renowned for crafting Pinot Gris, Rosé, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
We have more than 100 vineyard sites across Marlborough
We offer the full breadth of taste profiles of Marlborough grapes ranging from Wairau to Awatere.
Our vineyards afford us the luxury of different soils across Marlborough. This means our wines span a breadth of taste profiles.
We harvest at optimum ripeness
Our highest vineyard is at 203 metres, the lowest at sea level. So we have early and late ripening areas with the span of at least a month. This enables us to select vineyards to harvest when grapes are at their optimum level of ripeness.
We blend your wine to your requirements
Whether you are seeking millions of litres or ten thousand litres, we can produce Marlborough wines in the style you're seeking - at virtually any capacity.

Our chief winemaker
Drew Ellis
With more than 20 years' experience of viticulture and winemaking in Marlborough, Drew has a deep understanding of the characteristics and flavour profiles of our individual vineyard blocks, which enables him to blend wines to a broad range of profiles.

This knowledge and skill places him perfectly in his role managing and overseeing the production and sales of our clients’ wines.
